Yes, ElixFab requires SOLIDWORKS to function, as it integrates directly within the SOLIDWORKS environment to provide seamless sheet metal export and customization features.
An internet connection is only required for the initial activation and license transfer. For regular use, ElixFab operates fully offline within SOLIDWORKS.

ElixFab works with SOLIDWORKS 2015 and later versions. We recommend using it with the latest SOLIDWORKS version. Each year, we release an updated version of ElixFab to ensure compatibility with new SOLIDWORKS releases.

ElixFab operates fully integrated within SOLIDWORKS, and licensing is per individual user.

The product is sold on a rental basis. Once the license period expires, it needs to be renewed for continued use.
